BANOR FUNDS EVENT
Our annual meeting with Banor fund managers took place on the 12th November at the Palazzo Parigi in Milan.
The Banor Funds Event brings together institutional clients and industry professionals to discuss the main themes affecting markets. This year, the speakers discussed the future of European markets and institutions, at a time when many – including Mario Draghi – are calling for unity to face the threat of American tariffs. China’s economic recovery was also debated, as well as the outlook for fixed income.
Irene Elisei, journalist and host of Class CNBC, moderated the event and opened the proceedings with an interesting interview with Banor CEO Massimiliano Cagliero, focusing on the new Trump era.
The fund managers took centre stage, including advisors Dawid Krige of Banor SICAV Greater China Equity and Will Smith of Banor SICAV Volta L/S Equity; Francesc Balcells, portfolio manager of Aristea SICAV FIM Gem Debt; Francesco Castelli, Head of Bonds; Roberto Bianchi, manager of QSF – Banor Global Asset Diversified fund; Angelo Meda, Head of Equities; and Gianmarco Rania, manager of Banor SICAV European Dividend Plus.
